Application:
Oxford agar is a selective and differential medium used for the detection and isolation of Listeria monocytogenes from food products (e.g. milk and dairy products) and animal feed. Oxford agar contains an appropriate amount of nutrients to ensure the growth and multiplication of Listeria bacteria.
