Application: Indicator for monitoring high-pressure steam sterilisation. Chemical test. Class 6 emulsion test; reacts to all critical parameters within the sterilisation cycle (time, temperature, pressure). The Browne TST is a test that changes colour distinctly and immediately once the interdependent relationship between temperature and time in saturated steam has been achieved. Interpretation of results: an immediate colour change from yellow (before sterilisation) to purple (after sterilisation) once all three factors have been met.
