Application:
A selective medium for the isolation and differentiation of bacteria of the genera Salmonella and Shigella. This medium, with the composition given below, is recommended by the Pharmacopoeia for testing the microbiological purity of raw materials intended for the manufacture of medicinal products, as well as in finished medicinal products.
